      Barrett, nutrition science, unfortunately, is the most contradictory science in the world. what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work someone else. but with that said, i recommend you read some stuff from a very smart biochemist, nutritionist, trainer named Dr. John Berardi. He has a bit on protein in this PDF (link below). I would also suggest reading more of his stuff. I would also recommend reading Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Mercola and Robb Wolf. But like i said, keep in mind that much of the info out there tends to contradict itself. Everyone is different. Try things out and see how you feel. Learning to better listen to your own body is problaby the most important thing you can do.
