A little about me.
I was born in Louisiana and raised in a big small town in North East Texas. Growing up, I was fortunate to have a loving family, a lot of great friends and a plethora of diverse learning experiences. After a couple years of college, I moved to Austin, Texas, where i’ve been for almost 30 years. Music was my first love, which was also my college major and what originally brought me to Austin. For nearly a decade I wrote songs and played in various bands. I always had a calling to help people. I started exercising regularly at 12 years old. This ultimately lead me to becoming a Personal Trainer around 2004. After working a few years in corporate fitness, I left and formed my own company, the Blue Sky Strongbox. Fast forward almost 2o years and I’m still doing it. I have an amazing wife, cat and dog. We’ve traveled together to a lot of places and met a lot of interesting people. I have many plans for the future, none of which are limited to any one particular area, idea or concept. I’m just living. In my mind, my aim is to live best I can in line with my core values: positivity, simplicity and creativity. I’d rather love than hate, laugh than cry and tell the truth than have to lie.
