We all love simple, short answers to the questions we have. But unfortunately, when it comes to many Fitness/Health/Medical questions, there are rarely simple, short, definitive, one-size-fits-all answers. I wish there were but such is life. The main reason for this is that we are all uniquely different. What works for one of us might not work for all of us. And what seems to work right this moment, might not continue to work so well down the line. Things change, especially our bodies and even more, our lives. The key is to focus on where each of us finds ourselves at any point in time. There are answers to most of our questions but are likely to be found only through patience, perseverance and putting in some serious work. And that work typically makes most of us better than we were before, anyhow.

New Weekly Tipz! How bout a recap on the most important obstacle to conquer when working towards any goal(s): The truth. Do not avoid the truth. It’s best to just swallow bitter pills right from the start. The more i work with people the more i see clearly…do whatever it is that you know you should be doing but aren’t and most likely things will improve. And if you don’t know what they are, it’s ok, help is available. All you have to do is seek it out.

New Weekly Health & Fitness Tips! This week i simply wanted to show what AMeRiCAN PoSTuRE looks like and how it happens. Nothing speaks louder than pictures. Some of it is exaggerated to prove a point. W must be mindful of the things we do every day because they may be making things worse. The choice is ours. We need to sit up straight, stand up tall and get off our phones. And remember to move. And when we do move, we should avoid working only the muscles on the front side of the body. Work the backside. Avoid things like crunches, bench press, bicep curls and leg machines if you lack the knowledge of how to balance those exercises out with opposing pulling exercises. (Things like planks, deadlifts, bridges and pulling/rowing movements!)

New Weekly Tipz! Yes it’s true, there are a million exercises. I could show you any number of them. But instead, today, i am suggesting just one. One to add to your current collection. It’s simple, but it does a lot of things all at once. O f course, there’s nothing necessarily magical about any one exercise… unless you make it that way. There’s no need to do a bunch of exercises if you really focus your mind and body on just a few. Quality over quantity every time. Surely you have time for a 3 minute video today?

When you see a “new” or an “old” exercise, you must learn to see what the body is actually doing, NOT what equipment is being used or anything else ab out it. There is nothing that special about any equipment or mode of training. It’s all about what the body is doing and how it is moving. haven’t been doing TGU’s with anything heavier than a 53 lb kettlebell lately, but it’s a good movement for me. I’ve trained the movement almost exclusively with lighter weights, but because I concentrate on maintaining a good connection to the ground in all stages and have good general strength/flexibility, I’m able to get a good conversion to heavier weights. – the guy in this video

It doesn’t have to be complicated. You just have to do them. Because sitting all day at your job might be good for your economics but make no mistake, it is killing you softly.
