ew Video! THis week i talk briefly on the importance of balance, particularly when it comes to exercise selection. For every “pushing” exercise we should also do a “pulling” exercise to work the opposing muscles. Most people “push” way too much…(ex: Bench Press, Pushups, Shoulder Press, Incline Press, Shoulder Raises, etc.) We need to also pull…(EX: Pullups or Chinups, Rowing, Deadlifts, Lat Pulldowns, etc)!

April 15, 2011/by Carlton CullinsIt takes a lot for most people to find the will to change something in their lives and make it better. Ultimately this must come from within. In my years so far in the realm of fitness and nutrition three primary things that seem to have the most influence on people wanting to change their bodies. Increasing one’s attractiveness, fear of embarassment and fear of death.
April 15, 2011/by Carlton CullinsNew Weekly Tipz Video! “The Cancelling-Out Factor”. This week i want to emphasize that when it comes to body composition changes, don’t be fooled into believing that you can still eat what you want and as much as you want as long as you are exercising. If you’re not careful, all the hard work you put in can be sabotaged by what you put in the ol’ piehole! Check it out or not… 🙂

Too many strength coaches/trainers complicate everything. Pavel makes it real simple. I highly recommend these 3 Books… ENTER THE KETTLEBELL, NAKED WARRIOR & POWER TO THE PEOPLE. April 3, 2011/by Carlton CullinsNew Tipz Video! It’s been a while but i’m slowly geting back to my Weekly Videos. This time around i plan to keep them ALL under 1:30 in length. Just enough to briefly motivate and hopefully educate. Spread the word. This week i talk about SLOWING down while doing most exercises to help better control the movements. Quality is always more important than Quantity when it comes to exercise! Check it out or not… 🙂
